As a child growing up in the hustle-bustle of the Chicago suburbs Tricia recalls being captivated by “ The West”. Always looking west , as the storms rolled in or as the sun would set. Imagining a lifestyle where you could see for miles , wide open spaces , listen to the sounds of nature , experience the freedom to be who you want to be , look at gorgeous scenery everyday , independence to grow and raise food, look up at star-filled nights, and have neighbors who shared her deep values. As soon as Tricia was old enough she wasted no time and she moved 130 miles west to live that dream and live that lifestyle and she never went back.

In 2007 Tricia decided she wanted to provide an opportunity to people like her that wanted to live the rural lifestyle so she got her real estate license and opened her business. Tricia brings with her that deep rooted passion about this lifestyle as well as years of hands-on personal experiences and 18 years as a rural property Realtor . Tricia’s personal resume includes her job at ages 15-17 as a heavy equipment operator at a junkyard and daily tractor & skid steer driving around the farm now affording her knowledge about machinery , pole barn sizes , door heights , widths etc. Tricia’s lifetime clinician and Horse Show Judging gives her vast knowledge of all horse breeds, disciplines and how those needs are met in the barns & facilities. Tricia’s experience living in and selling farm homes gives her a clear understanding of limestone basements, wells, septic and propane tanks.

Tricia was on the ground floor of artificial insemination of APHA horses and owned & ran an international breeding, foaling and training facility in N. IL for 30 years. It was there in the early 90’s where she began to learn about soil types , production index and farm ground so as to have crops and hay. Tricia’s deep vision for things makes her a handy home remodeling resource. She has reimagined and remodeled numerous personal properties over the years and it's apparent she has a gift for colors, trim, floor plans and enhancing properties.

Since 2007 Tricia has listed and sold buildable lots to large acreage farms , homes in town to farmettes, hobby farms to professional equine facilities , lakefronts to recreational properties and every lifestyle in between.
