Did you know there is a difference between real estate agents and REALTORS® ?
Real estate agents are licensed professionals who facilitate property transactions between buyers and sellers.
REALTORS® are licensed professionals who facilitate property transactions between buyers and sellers and are members of NAR (National Association of REALTORS®), adhering to a strict Code of Ethics and high standards of conduct.
REALTORS® are licensed real estate professionals, but not all real estate agents are REALTORS®
Since being licensed in 2007 I have been a REALTOR®. Being a REALTOR® signifies my dedication to professionalism and ethical practices in the real estate industry. Beyond my duties as a real estate agent, as a REALTOR® I have a pledge to uphold integrity, honesty, and client interests through National Association of Realtors Code Of Ethics for which I must complete ethics training every three years. Additionally, as a Managing Broker, I am required to take 24 hours of CE classes every other year to maintain my license.
You can and should expect the professional bar to be high when working with a REALTOR®.
